Really good repair kit. The brass screws are important and the main reason I got the kit. Nuts and washers are bright zinc, which is perfectly normal for this application as they won't come in contact with water (unless you install them correctly). With this kit you can first attach the bolts to the tank (remember to use thin nuts for this), then attach the tank to the bowl with rubber and then metal washers for a very secure fit. I've used Korky repair parts mainly because I've tried them and they did the job, but I'll probably continue to use the Fluidmaster kit in the future.
