Review on Warner Carbide Triangle Scraper 828 by Mike Roe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

50 years later it is still an important tool.

In the 70's I restored Victorian houses in San Francisco. Even then, the Warner scraper was the star in my tool bag. This new one is much better than my old one. The carbide blade (it's 2 in 1 since it's double sided) is far superior to the blade from the 70's. Now we are rinsing with water to start the paint removing process, but we need to work with this scraper right away to really get the job done right. Of course, it also works with dry scraping. Still the best scraping tool. This pen really helps me with control and helps me push when I need to.

Pros
  • Solid Construction
Cons
  • Expensive
