Review on 🪓 Contractor's Half Hatchet by Link Handles 65274 by David Plunkett

Great for the price. I bought this handle to get my old Plumb hatchet back to work. The handle is very strong and the perfect length in my opinion. A wedge is included, but it's worth noting that this will need to be cut to fit and is made of wood rather than metal. None of these things bothered me, especially considering I had enough wedge left after installing it to use on another axe. The shape of the "tip" didn't fit my hatchet perfectly, but it fit well and is very snug, I use it regularly and it hasn't fallen out at all. I soaked the end in linseed oil after planting the head. The only thing I don't like about this pen is the finish, it's a bit waxy and leaves a weird feel on the hand. This is entirely personal preference, seems like it will be very durable, I just don't care. In any case, I won't hesitate to buy more of these for my next axes to recycle.
