Review on πŸ”₯ Wireless Meat Thermometer with Dual Probes for Safe and Accurate Cooking - Remote Digital Instant Read Thermometers for Oven, Grill, BBQ, and more - Alert & Timer - 500FT Range by Roger Calvert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The on/off switch is unfavorably placed.

This wireless thermometer works very well. I checked the temperatures shown with an instant read thermometer and one was exactly the same and the other was 10 degrees different so I would say it is very accurate. The range is also good. With the transmitter in the kitchen, I was able to go upstairs and it didn't lose connection. My only complaint is the location of the power button (see image). This is one of the two small black buttons you see under the stand. The second toggles between Fahrenheit and Celsius. I can understand the placement of this button under the stand because you install it once and probably never change it while the power button is used every time. The markers are printed on plastic and have no contrasting color, so you'll need to look closely to make sure you're pressing the correct button. This button really should be on the front or top of the device. It also says you should insert the probe 1.5 inches into the dish you are cooking. This can be difficult with thinner cuts of meat. Programming is a bit difficult. You'll need to keep your manual (and magnifying glass) handy until you remember how to set your desired temperature.
