Review on Tire Michelin Primacy 3 215/55 R18 99V by Jnis Zels ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, but I expected a little more.

After being swayed by glowing accounts of the pleasant ride quality, I decided to give these tires a try. This is an honest evaluation written by the owner, not the paid promoters who populate online discussion groups. Instead, Michelin opted to purchase a Bridgestone Potenza. The rubber's soft sidewall, rather than its soft tread, makes driving over asphalt's joints and bumps more comfortable, but that may be where the benefits end. Concerning the drawbacks, they include a high level of noise from the rubber, which is comparable to that of Kama-euro. I also found that it slips in the wet if you have to get a quick start, but this has never happened to me while wearing breeches. The acoustic comfort of rubber is disappointing.

Pros
  • Gentle wingwall
Cons
  • Extremely loud
