I share a house and frankly, I want to be sure the roommate and guests are not able to wander into my rooms at will. I bought these and they came keyed the same as advertised. I switched out the knobs in a matter of minutes, only needed a screwdriver. I’m mechanically inclined so maybe it won’t be as easy for others, but really it’s not hard to do.While it’s true a determined person could kick in the door to get in, my weasily roommate won’t go to that kind of trouble so it eases my mind. I recommend this to anyone who shares an apartment or house- you may trust your roommate but how well do you know their guests?
