I think if you are promoting something universal it should be; Am I asking that much? I bought this mainly for the swivel feature and unfortunately even on the lowest settings this stand will elevate your TV 8-9 inches higher than the factory TV stand my Samsung 65 came with. So if it's universal the height should not start to the normal factory settings and then to various higher settings for those who either have a lower tv stand or just want to look at their tv instead of standing directly on it just to look up. Very unfortunate and therefore I CANNOT use this stand recommend.
