Take a chance, check before you install

If you're willing to risk what you get, do it. Check EVERYTHING before installing! Make sure it fits and is straight! You need to buy stronger drywall anchors, the ones that come with them are broken! I have searched endlessly for a curtain rod to match my brushed brass lamp. From the pictures it is very difficult to tell which is brass and which is gold. And that was it! Finally! However, what I read in the reviews was true! I ordered 2 poles and received 2 different mounts. My friend installed it and neither of us noticed until it was fixed to the wall and we didn't want to risk taking it out or putting it back in to keep it on its feet. All said and done, you can't really tell, it was just annoying. One of the end caps is crooked and doesn't screw straight on, but again it's hard to see when everything is together with the curtains. In the end, despite the extra effort, they achieved exactly the look I was looking for, so it was worth it. But it was definitely stressful. They've been up for a week now with heavy linen curtains, I don't know how they hold up, but we reinforced them ourselves. Looks stylish. Would give 5 stars if it was how it's supposed to be and the installation hardware could be used. Fits well with; Perfect Order Iron Curtain Rings 2 Inner Diameters Set of 14 (Golden) More glossy than matte but they work and the large holes make it easy to slip and less likely to scratch!
