It's basically just tubes going in and out. Each tube is 42 inches long. The 36"-66" kit includes a larger and a smaller tube. The 66-120" kit comes with an extra larger diameter hose. If the inner tube OD matches the outer tube ID very closely, I would consider them well designed and built. Unfortunately, that's not the case and this one Diameters are slightly different (approx 1-1.5mm) and therefore creates a lopsided fit. This construction causes sagging, so with two rods for me at 42+21=63"

I first found them at Urban Outfitters for $49 each. I needed 2 and also bought curtain panels from UO so first wanted to see if I could find cheaper rods.
