Short battery life. No instructions with remote control.

They look really nice and I like them. I do wish they were plugged in though as the batteries run out fairly quickly, I would say within a few hours of use. Luckily I use rechargeable batteries, but it's still a little awkward having to climb up and down to change batteries. The lamps didn't come with instructions, so I couldn't figure out how to use the timer.
