The face of this watch is quite large and doesn't have the dainty little appearance of most wristwatches, but it still looks attractive. Gold arrows and numbers on a white background may not provide enough contrast for visually impaired people. I bought this watch because I wanted an extender bracelet that was easy to put on my hand when washing my hands or doing housework. However, the strap of this watch is very tight. My wrist size is 6 1/2 inches and I have found this bracelet to pinch from time to time. It also doesn't stretch out much so you can move the watch somewhere safe when your hands are in the water. I really don't like the big black letters advertising "TIMEX" on the dial. The hands and numbers are all gold, so why print distracting black lettering on the dial? It's a regular watch, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.
