*Edit* - I ordered a replacement and it was significantly more warped than the first screen I ordered, with even worse brightness changes due to screen curvature. Wherever they are made, they really should solve this problem. I would not recommend ordering this product unless you want to bet on a good device. I will be returning the replacement unit as it is a total disappointment. I don't expect perfection as most products have tiny imperfections, but warping completely ruins the experience. *Original Review* Let's start by saying that the LCD itself is great. 4k60Hz, 1440p60Hz or 1080p120Hz. HDR and Freesync are also supported. The firmware settings that come with it are bad for the Series X, but once calibrated it looks fine. Freesync has to be enabled, black levels lowered and overdrive disabled by default, resulting in horrendous ghosting. Enabling this makes it much more responsive. I understand they are most likely using the default firmware settings, but G-Story seems to have tweaked some aspects to include the splash screen. It would be nice if this expanded with a bunch of default options that look great right out of the box. Also, my issues are with the shell/case. It's poorly made, not only is the plastic warped on both corners, but the connection to the Xbox itself is a bit loose. I suspect this is due to the cheaper production and quality checks, which is acceptable at times, but not for a screen this expensive. It attaches to the Xbox with clips that could be a bit tighter so it feels really secure and doesn't wobble. light bleeding. This is imperceptible when viewing bright and colorful images, but very noticeable when the brightness is low. I used the Netflix home screen for photos as an example. In the end I will most likely return it and see if I have better luck with a different screen but I took advantage of the coupon/sale and when I return I can't. I wouldn't buy a new one for the same price. Either way, unless they've greatly improved the molding/quality of the plastic, it's not worth the price. I am also interested in the PS5 version but am very concerned about ordering it as I know quality issues are evident here. I want to love it and it has a lot of great features but its weakest link is the plastic body.
