I learned a hard lesson by not using Mopar OEM sensors for Jeep/Chrysler products have used. Ordered 2 extra sensors (1 crank/1 cam) for my heavy 2007 Jeep Commander. After installation, the dropouts and rough idle continued. After that I did a lot of work (probably more than a dumb high mileage jeep) including all new coils, spark plugs, a new PCM and all the other sensors in the book. When it didn't work my awesome mechanic returned it with an apology that he couldn't fix it and assumed it was something in the engine not releasing the code. Not wanting to throw a ton of money away, I decided to get two OEM Mopar sensors as I researched that the Jeep 4.7 engine is very picky when it comes to sensors. Well it's been 2 months and my jeep is working perfectly. Thank you Mopara A hard lesson learned.
