When NiCd batteries were kings in the cordless tool world I had 18v and 19.2v Craftsman cordless tools. Then NiCd disappeared and replacement was easy very expensive when the batteries just died. So I switched to newer generations of lithium cordless tools, in my case Ridgid tools and have been very happy with the transition and I have a lot of Ridgid cordless tools and cordless tools. But unfortunately my Craftsman tools became completely unusable because the Ridgid battery form factor is not compatible between brands until I found this inexpensive adapter. The adapter can be easily fitted to Craftsman 18V and 19.2V cases by first removing the old nickel cadmium elements inside. Now my three old craftsman drill bits and a circular saw have been given new life. Very happy camper now! 5 Stars.
