Review on 🚚 AMP Research 75306-01A BedStep Retractable Bumper Step for Ram Trucks 2009-2018 (1500) 2010-2018 (2500/3500, Excluding Dual Exhaust & EcoDiesel Models), Black by Chris Nako

I installed this bumper step on our 2012 Ram 3500 with two rear wheels and truck. Installation was very easy as I had all the necessary tools; a torque wrench is required to ensure the four mounting bolts and three shoulder bolts are properly but not overtightened. I took my time to double check each step and it took an hour to install the step. All the components seem to be made of quality materials, well made and very well designed. All the details fit together perfectly. Once assembled, the step is unobtrusive, but at the same time folds out and removes easily with a light touch of your foot. It feels solid and easily supports my weight. (I weigh just over 200 pounds.) It doesn't wobble or wobble when you step on or off it. As for its intended use, it greatly facilitates getting in and out of the back of our truck. especially since it's a 3500 and the bumper, like the body of the truck, is so high off the ground. I'm about 5ft 10" tall and had to either jump on the back door or "roll" on it when it was down to get in the back of the truck. I had to jump off to get out of the truck. back door; eventually I would underestimate the landing and injure myself. Now that the step is in place, I can easily and safely get on and off the truck while maintaining my dignity! Talking about getting it means you've already decided you need it, so stop hesitating and get it, you won't be disappointed.
