I bought a $40 Platinum branded case for my new Surface Pro 6 but figured $40 for it one case too many so I bought that one too and compared the two and it's a "you get what you pay for" situation. Pros: - Low price - Front pocket for power cord/pen storage - Material quality is good for $10 only found on the front of the case. There is literally no padding on the back of the case and this is the side I would rather have padding on if I had to choose a side as this is the side where your device will make contact with any surface it touches you lay the case. , and there are no seals between them, which makes it impossible to have this cover, so to speak. - There is no edge protection, so God help us consumers if we drop this case with the device inside! That's another reason why this case doesn't help protect your device. If you're using a Surface/Surface Pro that this case is compatible with, don't be fooled. Yes it will fit, but there is approximately 3/8" of space between your tablet and the top and sides of the case. While it doesn't seem like much, you can just shake the case up and down and side to side. laterally and your tablet moves freely in the sleeve. The 40€ Platinum sleeve has edge protection, fits perfectly on the surface tablet and is of high quality. Therefore I would only buy this sleeve if I wanted to keep my device dust-free and nothing more.
