Installed on a 1967 chevy with a 292. It works but the engine will not idle right. My truck doesn't have an rpm gauge but I would guess it's currently about 1200 rpm idle. There is no way to lower it, the engine just dies if you try to unscrew the idle adjustment. I've also tried messing with the mixture screw at the bottom, no help. This motor should have no problem idleing at 6-800 rpm. I think it's improperly jetted or something. Did not come with any paperwork, instructions, specs, nothing just a carb in a box. Not sure if I will return it or not. I would not buy another for sure. Rebuild your original rochester.
