Anyone who needs MSA Air Monitors in a confined space will sooner or later have to replace the sensor in the device. This is a sensor that doesn't typically need to be changed very often, but if it does, it'll cost you a decent amount of money for what you're getting, it sounds like. The price lowers the rating. The OEM version is well protected and sealed. The device's pins were protected with a small amount of foam in a small plastic case. It is fairly easy to install and can only be installed in one position and with a specific pin arrangement. Align the pins and you're good to go. Run a control/calibration test and you're good to go.
