I make rings and other small metal parts and often do them by hand or on a lathe. I've only used hard polishing stones for a long time - and while they work well I have a hard time repeating the result, it's always a bit of trial and error. I bought it as an alternative to test. I am very happy with it. A very small amount - about the size of a grain of rice - is enough to polish a surface about 2 inches in diameter and possibly larger. It is very easy to apply by hand and just as easy to polish. I noticed that unlike many other polishes, this one feels almost non-grainy - that's how good it is. I used this paste (after the initial work was done) to apply the final mirror finish to a copper alloy disc by hand in about three minutes. This is the first time I've used a syringe to apply polishing paste and found it to be fairly easy to control. , I wasn't able to get the ultra smooth reflective finish I wanted from them even after regrowing, but it works fine on copper and bronze.
