So far so good - will be updated after further use.

So far so good. This inverter embodies a number of useful features for my small solar industry. I have a 2kW photovoltaic array that is (unfortunately) next to the trees. By switching from 12V DC to 24V DC I was able to double the performance of my charge controllers and halve the current from the batteries. The built-in switch works, the device is very quiet. I will not use power saving features in my setup. In other words, the aim is to start the refrigerator at night. The pure sine wave output gives me a better feel when connecting expensive devices. The device comes in double packaging. Using wire #6 for 120VAC I think 1/0 is metered for the battery to the inverter. No questions. Update: Microwave, oven and partially 2HP air compressor connected. I've watched the gear change several times and it appears to be lossless, ie: the microwave clock and oven clock stay on and on time.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.
