Works like a champ!

I live off the grid and have been using this pure sine wave inverter to power my house for over a year. I can get 10-12 hours without power from my 24V battery and only need 4-6 hours of generator operation per day. I have a pellet stove, plasma tv, microwave and 30 cu ft refrigerator and they all work fine. One of my best purchases! I will be buying a 10k 48V pure sine wave inverter when my 2000 sq ft house is built.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • I'll write later

So far so good - will be updated after further use.

So far so good. This inverter embodies a number of useful features for my small solar industry. I have a 2kW photovoltaic array that is (unfortunately) next to the trees. By switching from 12V DC to 24V DC I was able to double the performance of my charge controllers and halve the current from the batteries. The built-in switch works, the device is very quiet. I will not use power saving features in my setup. In other words, the aim is to start the refrigerator at night. The pure sine wave…

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Unstable voltage in inverter mode

I bought a 4000w pure sine wave Aims inverter… I bought a 4000w pure sine wave Aims inverter through Revain with a 30 day money back guarantee. After I hooked everything up I had a problem with the lights flickering in inverter mode I contacted target support and spoke to Jay, he said this shouldn't be done and wanted a photo of my wiring which looked good then he did another photo, another picture and finally a video while all the time in my return window with Revane was running out. I had to…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Can only use 2k without shutdown and now dead

It was a lemon from the start. It came with a broken fan that someone tried to glue, so I had to replace the cooling fan immediately. Then when I went to install, the AC line that came with this inverter was not connected to the inverter leaving my wires exposed between the inverter and the line. Definitely not coding. Then, once I connected the inverter, it stopped working every time the load went over about 2 kilowatts. The inverter is designed for 4kW continuous power and 12kW peak power…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Fits

This inverter sucks

This inverter sucks! Sleep mode won't activate unless you start the table saw or something really big. The controls are thin and small, like a watch, easily broken and impossible to see without a magnifying glass. Errors are printed in the manual and the seller"Inverter Store" will not help. A small black square with a white circle is an over-selected battery type. Can you tell which ebb is the end of the selector, I can't. And he's damn small. The black button next to it for setting the charge

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quality

Good inverter - Power Inverters

Works well. Very quiet. I wish it had a few more features, but beyond that, it comes highly recommended. February 2017 update. Still working very well. The device is in the basement and you will never realize that it is working in the house if the power goes out. Charges 8 golf cart batteries. I want it to be programmed for battery charge settings. The voltage appears to be a little lower than what is actually believed for a float charge: 13.2 versus 13.8 for lead-acid batteries. There is a DIP

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Small flaws

Still no problem [updated]

I've owned this 4kW inverter for almost a year and like its younger cousin I've owned for two years (2kW 24v) it's become a champion . I have run these inverters at almost full power and sometimes higher and I have encountered no problem. They start beeping when you violate normal limits, but they output their rated pulse power for the allowed time. My 4kW version stays on almost 24/7 and powers most of my house and I have connected a REMOTELF switch to it so I can monitor and control it…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Operating speed
