From what I can tell this is a useful product for my betta fish. My males were already healthy so I didn't necessarily see the effect "immediately" but I think it will work long term, it's magical. The only thing I've noticed as a replacement for one of my bettas is that its water doesn't get as dirty anymore. Everything else I tried (I also had a filter) didn't seem to prevent this white thin substance from appearing. But now they are almost gone! Not sure if this product is the reason but it happened after I put them in his tank.
