I had high hopes that this would help me train my Rottweiler Doberman plus size puppy. It worked great for the first week or so so it didn't kill my cat and stopped jumping and trying to bite playfully but roughly. I had wounds on my arms from their claws. Then she got used to the shock, I think. It says the shock goes up to 16 levels, but it DOESN'T WORK. I thought mine was broken so they sent a new one. THE SAME THING! ONLY GO TO 8 LEVELS. SHE BARELY LOOKS EYE. Also, the broken orange collar on both sets I received ripped apart within 2 weeks. She doesn't chew it, it just breaks and falls apart. I specifically chose this collar for the 16 shock levels as it overwhelms me when trying to be the leader of the pack. She didn't actually shed much blood on me because I had company, I didn't want her to jump and there was no way the collar could stop her. She used to be a good dog but at 4 1/2 months she got so big. I need a stronger collar. R they have to pass 16 levels and I had to hit them with a whistle again which I hate but for now it's the only effective one.
