Very nice idea. Arrived nicely rolled up in a cardboard tube which is much better than other paint by number canvases that fold up and have permanent creases. The numbers are very small and may be difficult for children or the elderly to see. The hut in the forest I bought is not suitable for a beginner or a small child as it is very detailed. Bought for a 17 year old girl. My only complaint is that the canvas has not been cropped to allow room to stretch over the wooden frame. The canvas was cut off at the very edge of the painted area. Stretching it over a wooden frame means that the painted picture wraps around the tree on all 4 sides. It would have been better if the canvas was cut to leave about 1 inch blank canvas on all 4 sides for framing. I also bought additional brushes of different sizes in addition to the brushes included in the kit.
