I'm someone who prefers to buy clothes in the store, unless I know the brand, its materials and how it's sized. I took a chance with these after having a hard time finding outdoor slippers like this without huge logos on them - or that I liked the look of. I'm really glad I got these. I think these will last awhile, given their lack of fail-spots - they are almost one unit and any places (sole to toe box) seems well done, sturdy and not likely prone to splitting away. I like the look - they are much different than what I saw in brick and mortar stores and they are really comfortable. Plus they clean easy without any parts to absorb water. In answer to other questions and reviews, there was no discernible smell to them - totally neutral. I ordered the size I expected to and they fit perfectly.
