I have had several Kessil products. I bought this specifically for the Kessil A-80 Tuna Sun. I expected this to work right out of the box, but additional parts are required that are not included. The A-80 can only be connected to this controller via the 3.5mm headphone jack, so you will need an additional cable for this (not included). The K-Link cable is only intended for use with the new A360X and AP700 series lights. Only then do you have full control over the entire color spectrum. That said, there's no app for your PC or phone that lets you create custom lighting settings, even if the controller can connect to your computer. You need to connect this controller to your computer to restart the device or update the firmware. However, this does not work with OSX. Programming mode is quite difficult to navigate even with a touchscreen. It's not very intuitive, and unless you watch the 30-minute video on how to use this thing, it doesn't have instructions for even the simplest programming questions. With other companies making Wi-Fi enabled controllers, this seems like a big step forward. wrong direction by Kessil. If you don't have a huge tank full of top-of-the-line Kessil lightbulbs, this product isn't for you.
