Description of 🌊 Enhance Your Aquatic Environment with the Advanced Kessil Spectral Controller X

Equipped with flawless touch control and a vivid color display, the Spectral Controller X is effortless light control at the touch of your fingertips. Its straightforward approach to light control programming allows for endless customization options without the confusion. The sleek, modern design ensures a beautiful and cohesive setup that won't disrupt the look of your aquarium. The new K-Link communication method with the A360X Tuna Sun and A360X Tuna Blue is an upgrade of the old 0-10V Kessil Spectral Controller, allowing users to network multiple A360X lights together (up to 32 fixtures per chain) and set individual groups to run their own programs. K-Link is also a two-way communication, meaning the Spectral Controller X can detect the number of lights in the network, the status of the lights, etc. The Controller X comes with one K-Link port and one 0-10V output port. The K-Link port allows users to connect to the new A360X, while the 0-10V port is for Kessil’s 0-10V light fixture (A360WE, A360NE, A80 and A160). With the 0-10V port you need to use the older Unit Link Cable (not included with Controller X). To connect to more than one light you will need an extra K-Link Cable for each additional light. A single K-Link Cable comes with the Spectral Controller X. Comes with: Spectral Controller (x1); Magnetic Back Plate (x1); Micro USB Cable (for firmware update)(x1); K-Link Cable (10’) (x1); Screws (x2); Nylon Anchor (x2). Manual Mode: tune color and intensity for on demand light customization. Program Mode: features two ways of setting a customized light schedule to match individual tank needs. Maximum of 12 programs can be created. age range description: All Life Stages.

Don't buy rubbish in the aquarium Lamps

Bought for my A80 lamp. It's garbage. No instructions. Checked the website and nothing for the A80. This is an overpriced shutdown timer. All functions are crappy and difficult to navigate, poor execution. Nothing beats the Fluval LED light app. The dashboard isn't set up to show I'm a 0-10v gauge, it just shows all the gauges doing nothing. The thing is absolute garbage. Kessil makes great lights but terrible execution for apps and add-on controllers. It was all about making extra money.

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

No upgrade from original kessil controller

. I thought upgrading the original controller to Model X for the older Tuna Blue 360WE model would be worth the investment. In my experience, an upgrade doesn't cost any money. Good features for 360X and limited for 360WE. The X controller is programmed to 1% of 5% on the original but I don't see any difference. Like 5% unchanged. Other features that work on the 360WE are thunder and clouds, but who cares. Do not buy this controller for your old Kessil lights. Works just like the original…

Pros
  • , cool product
Cons
  • . Could choose newer model

I have had several Kessil products. I bought this specifically for the Kessil A-80 Tuna Sun. I expected this to work right out of the box, but additional parts are required that are not included. The A-80 can only be connected to this controller via the 3.5mm headphone jack, so you will need an additional cable for this (not included). The K-Link cable is only intended for use with the new A360X and AP700 series lights. Only then do you have full control over the entire color spectrum. That…

Not worth the hassle or money

I'm going to start using this controller with an old model Kessil 360s. This controller advertises backwards compatibility, but that's not all. Presumably newer X bulbs tie into the controller and I think at least my annoyance would be less if that was the case. Let's start by saying that the instructions that come with it are almost useless and wrong in one case. The ones on Kessil's website are slightly better, and Kessil's YouTube videos are even slightly better. After watching the video for
