I have used this with a Xroose rear view camera: UTF8&psc=1 My travel trailer was prepared with the domed plastic mount for the Furrion camera pre-installed on most trailers. This mount shares the same mounting hole pattern as the Furrion dome. Drilling is not required. I removed the Furrion Dome mount, then installed that mount on the trailer with the Furrion spacer in front of the trailer, then a piece of plexiglass in the shape of a Furrion Dome mount (which I made) between the spacer and this mount. (I might not have had to do this, but the plexiglass provided additional support for the gasket. I also put silicone around the gasket and the piece of plexiglass, and around the opening in the trailer where the cable passed through the trailer's wall.) I then screwed the Xroose mount onto the Halo mount. The Furrion Halo power adapter cable also fits the Xroose camera, eliminating the need to purchase another cable or make your own. It's pretty simple and clear.
