Review on 🐠 Hagen Fluval Flex Aquarium 34L, 9gal - Model 15004HG by Yolanda Reed

The main reason this tank got 2 stars from me was because the filter pump was DOA, which I didn't find out until I put the tank back in place and half filled it with water and decorations . I had to buy a replacement pump locally. This shouldn't be difficult to verify during quality control; does it work or not? We continue. The tank itself is very nice and appears to be well built. I really like the filter setup and it all looks great once you set it up and hide the wires. The filter chamber at the back allows the heater to be hidden, so the end result is a very clean installation both inside and out. I have a big problem with the lighting adjustment: if you lose the little remote control THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THE LIGHT ON AND OFF. The novelty of being able to give your fish a mood light wears off quickly, and if you lose the remote they end up with Fish Seasonal Affective Disorder. Buy it to set up an aquarium and filter, expect a lousy pump to be replaced, and maybe ditch your lighting.
