I use my Mac in a dual monitor dock so it's always complicated. Since I work from home all the time, I was looking for a webcam to enable video for my local video calls. I looked at this webcam which was cheap and seemed easy to mount on a monitor so I bought it. Installation does not exist. All I had to do was plug in the USB port and all my apps were able to see the camera. The privacy filter moves smoothly and is easy to operate with your finger. The quality of the video was great too and I could see my face clearly in the preview :). I haven't used the mic so far as I use the AirPods mic. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend it.
