When it's fully extended it's funny how big it is on a walkie-talkie. I threaded it through the Friends grid on the back of my record holder and it works great. That's why I tested the connection with a couple of repeaters 40km away and am able to get a full connection with my 10w Aliunce HD1. It's thinner and lighter than I expected, but it's really annoying on a portable device. I can get a smaller model for general use. This one will live on the carrier.
