LOVE IT. I had a minor IV for 12 years and then I dropped it. It looked large when it arrived and I was concerned it might not sit well on the mug as the smaller one fits snugly around the rim of the mug. I'm often in a hurry and trying to do three things at once, so I didn't feel like grabbing my IV and knocking it off. I'm getting used to it now and it's perfectly safe on a mug (a large Starbucks mug) and I treat it like it's something special (don't wave my arms). My coffee tastes better. I pour a small amount of water about 3 times and wait for the water to drain each time, then pour more water at a normal speed. I like that it has a window for viewing coffee. It's elegant. So happy with that. In anticipation of his arrival, I used a tea strainer with a crumpled filter in it. This worked for a temporary fix but took a long time. But it's better than no coffee. I'm already looking forward to the coffee.
