Review on 💧 Camco 02492/02493 2500W 240V Low Watt Density Screw-In Foldback Water Heater Element by Victor Jack

bought 3 of these they are told by others the element is 6 inches from the bottom of the threads. my package was marked camco #02493. I used these to replace faulty ones in a 3 element electric water heater, the elements are silver but I don't believe they are stainless steel, the threaded head was the same silver as the Element body and magnet stick to it slightly so I bet it's just nickel plating of the whole device. Hopefully they will last longer than the original items which were 3 years old. the time will show. At least I can take a hot shower now. ;around)
