Pretty painful for beginners

Edit: This product is the most frustrating experience, nothing lights up properly and customer support told me I need to reproduce the email tag because their "technical support" doesn't do troubleshooting and the people who do it only do reply by email . Sometimes 2 fans will light, sometimes just 1, but never all 3, and nothing else in the kit will ever light as intended. Stay away. This product comes in great packaging and you really feel like you got value for money especially when you count the individual items. it wasn't exactly like that. I first learned whistles are called something which is just a fancy word for acrylic and I realized very quickly that it's not very forgiving and easy to screw up. Combine that with the types of adapters that pretty much force you into a hard tube and you either have to try to use them (and in my case ruin the tube right away despite watching videos beforehand) or a lot more Investing money In getting better hoses or other adapters but it doesn't end there... It comes with a pump fill reservoir that just broke from use, it was 2 hours of draining and playing Rubik's Cube trying to get out makes no fun. But that's not all... The pump is damn impractical, when you have everything hooked up it doesn't run at full power when you fill and you get bogged down trying to figure out why the hoses aren't filling, why should that be ? The instructions aren't the best and the process was very painful. I filled my entire motherboard and cards with coolant while trying to cover everything which yes is part of the user's fault but I also feel that acrylic isn't a better application and I wish Corsair had more options , such as the ability to purchase a soft tube kit. Knowing what I'm doing now I may have gone for a cheaper kit and gotten a soft tube to save the headache and for more flexibility.

Pros
  • fans and cooling
Cons
  • The list will be long.
