Water? Electronics? Why not

Installed water cooling for the first time. The kit has everything to install a processor and be happy. I had to purchase additional wheel and accessories to install additional 360mm and 140mm wheels. If your graphics card doesn't come with a water block, you'll need one too. The pump has no problems with the added wheels. Make sure you buy more tubes the first time you install water cooling, like I did, and don't get discouraged if you mess up a tube or two. Cone with conductive process. Be…

Good product! in Fans & Cooling

The assembly was better than I expected! I bought extra 90 degree connectors in case I needed them and since my case was an iTX I definitely needed them. I changed the wheel to a 240 as the 360 didn't fit in my case. Regarding the temperature, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 with an aorus 3090 wb card. My GPU temp has never been above 70 and my CPU has been the same. I really think the fans included in the kit are for the larger case. My overall build went smoothly and I had more than enough tubes (3…

Great system with relatively easy setup!

This was my first PC build and my philosophy was do something big or go home! Initially, I was just looking to replace my GPU and get the RTX 3090, but things just snowballed from that point on. What should have been a simple GPU switch became a complete overhaul of my setup, minus my motherboard and PCU. Since I have a new case and new RGB RAM, I figured I'd try hard cooling the PC. Corsair Hydro X System along with lots of YouTube and here are the results! I'll just comment: if you're…

Pros
  • Transform your PC into a visual masterpiece with the Hydro X Series RGB Custom Hard Cooling Kit, which gives your rig a stunning, distinctive look, all using quality CORSAIR components.
Cons
  • Some small things

So this set was VERY well thought out. I put it in the Thermaltake Tower 900 case because I really like the design of the case. It is very easy to understand connectors that connect rigid pipes to bends/connectors. Reasons I gave it 4 stars: 1. I ended up having to order 4 90 degree elbows to make it work. This kit did not come with the U block and without these short sections it takes 3-4 bends in a tube making it extremely difficult to get every bend perfect. I think for the $600 kit they…

Pretty painful for beginners

Edit: This product is the most frustrating experience, nothing lights up properly and customer support told me I need to reproduce the email tag because their "technical support" doesn't do troubleshooting and the people who do it only do reply by email . Sometimes 2 fans will light, sometimes just 1, but never all 3, and nothing else in the kit will ever light as intended. Stay away. This product comes in great packaging and you really feel like you got value for money especially when you…

Multiple Items DOA/Error

I wish I had better things to say about this kit. Corsair products have historically been an integral part of my decor. However, this kit was a very unfortunate financial decision on my part. I'll start by saying I've been working on my water cooled build for over a month now. The CPU water block RGB lighting went out upon arrival. This was confirmed by testing on a separate build and finally buying the same model separately which worked fine.2. All 3 fans partially lit up for a few hours, then
