A defective part came from an obviously inferior batch of poorly made parts. Essentially, the teeth were machined a bit thicker than necessary, which in turn rendered the part inoperable ((hub) didn't fit in the clutch housing). So after everything was set up correctly for me, I started the bike and put it in gear. After releasing the clutch, my bike would not move in gear. I even adjusted the clutch but it turned out to be just a bad part. I spent hours thinking I did something wrong taking everything apart and putting it back together. WHEN YOU INSTALL YOUR PART, MAKE SURE IT CAN FULLY AND EASILY CONNECT TO THE COUPLING BODY AS IT WAS AN OEM PART. CLUTCH DISCS SHOULD NOT BE A FAVORITE. You can search for a poorly made Barnett's clutch and several links will appear. I have had several other friends using Barnetts products and have never had any problems. Just a bad batch of parts that sometimes happen during the manufacturing process. I didn't contact Barnett directly, I just got back through Revane.
