So I got these fans, installed them outside of the PC with a spare power supply to test with the Molex cable and everything was fine. Put them in the case I used them on after a test, everything was going fine for 30 minutes until one of the wires connected to the Molex overheated, melted, shorted out and set several wires on fire. Molex is definitely to blame, they should have used SATA. You might be wondering why I'm still considering using these fans, the price is too good for what I'm using them for. I asked for a replacement and it magically showed up with a SATA connection. It's all good now if this one lights up, although I'll never mess with Uhere again
