Review on 🗡️ Masahiro Handcrafted Sword Whetstone Sharpening by Andrew Gomez

Being relatively new to blade sharpening, this set is one of the first official whetstones I have purchased. I've been searching and researching sharpening stones and came across these and I have to say: for just under $40 these stones are excellent quality. Compared to other stones of the same quality that I have come across, this is undoubtedly the best value for money. They arrived 1 day before expected arrival date which is always a plus! The total waiting time was 4 days from the day the order was placed to the day they arrived at my doorstep. and as soon as they arrived I unpacked them and immediately started using them, soaking them in water for 30 minutes and throwing away the old whetstone a friend had given me. Within an hour I was able to sharpen my cheap store bought santoku knife (which also upgrades to a more suitable, higher quality knife). and working with these stones actually makes a beginner like me look like I know what I'm doing. But as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. In any case, I recommend these stones to everyone as a first set or as an additional set. They are also a great gift idea I noticed. good luck sharpening!
