This 1 inch thick insulation effectively eliminates the heat radiating from above here in the Deep South. at high power and the heat still radiates from top to head. Once installed, the air conditioner can now run at low speed all day long. Pros* cut-outs precisely match the contours of the roof and installation is easy. the mat will be installed flat, not contoured. Small note - the front portions of the hatch have cutouts for some twistlocks but not others. While this does not interfere with their operation (rotation), it is inconsistent with providing cutouts for some and not others. It is a limited space when the adhesive backing is open. also o It is VERY IMPORTANT to position the mat correctly before it touches the surface as the adhesive is very aggressive when grabbing and holding, like tape. As soon as he grabs it, he's there. This is a recent installation, so there is no data on the adhesive's long-term performance in hot weather. I will update if it doesn't work.
