When using Fan-Tastic fans, the screens are full of lint and dust and need to be cleaned. Removing and replacing the six screws holding the screen in place is a hassle, and you'll almost always end up dropping a pair. They move in unpredictable directions when they hit the ground, and they're the same color as my ground. As a result, you won't be doing this often enough, and your screen can become so clogged with dirt that almost no air can get through. .In this replacement, pull the handle down and the screen will appear. When you put it back, smack it with your palm and it will come back. I've found the 409 cleaner to do a good job on screens, not damaging the plastic or the screen (although the fumes are bad, so do it outside). Highly recommended.
