For the most part it does what you would expect it to do. It tracks total hours, RPM, service interval and 1 resettable job counter. Judging by the images, the backlight is always on, but only for 2-3 seconds when scrolling through modes. I installed mine on a 2002 Yamaha Warrior 350. It seems to be working as intended. At the moment I'm using the 3M Velcro that came with the kit, but I think in the near future I might have to use the screw studs on the back because it's bulky. It depends on how well the Velcro sticks to the trails.
