Review on Regalo My Cot Portable Toddler Bed, Includes Fitted Sheet, Pink by Steve Tripp

Do not last as long as they should

I have a daycare. These are perfect cots for the kids to sleep on. They do store easily and comfortable for the kids. The kids can unfold the cot and put it away when nap is over by themselves. The downside is the bolts that hold the center of the cot bed itself to the frame break off. This makes it sag and the kids can feel the frame of the cot on their backs. I don't understand why they can't make them to last. They know this is an issue. Some have broken shortly after it was purchased. I am very careful with them and do not allow the children to stand on them. I am just getting tired of purchasing them. The only reason that I haven't replaced more than I have is that I will use a zip tie to hold them together. This does help me use them longer. This shouldn't be necessary. One broke the other day and I am deciding if I invest in another or try a more expensive one that may last. These were $25 when I first began purchasing the and are now $35 with the same defect.

Pros
  • Easy to set up even for toddlers. Daughter and her play mate love them.
Cons
  • The cot may be too heavy for easy transport
