This mount is great for keeping my Google WiFi hotspot within reach and keeping the hotspot out of the way too! I didn't want to buy any of the brackets that hang from the PSU for fear they might come loose and fall off. This mount proved to be the perfect solution as I didn't have to drive screws into my wall. I bought this mount for my living room because the only place my Google WiFi hotspot could get a signal was far away from a table or shelf. I didn't want to drill holes in the wall so this bracket seemed like the perfect solution. Mounting the bracket is very easy. First you can wrap the cable around the back of the mount to hold it in place. I've found that you have to play with the placement of the power cord to position the cord correctly. The guide recommends wrapping the cable around it starting at the power side, but I found it much easier to place the Wi-Fi point in the mount, plug in the USB-C side, and then wrap the cable around. That way you don't accidentally click the USB-C side when trying to connect it to a WiFi hotspot. You don't even have to remove the cover completely to install the mount to a wall outlet. , installation is easier if you don't! To install the mount, simply unclip the base cover and slide the mount's tab under the base cover. You can mount the bracket on either side of the port cover, I chose to mount mine on the side to avoid warping underneath. The mount feels very solid and doesn't look like it's going to loosen or fall off anytime soon. However, if you think you might accidentally bump into the mount from time to time, I would choose the screw mount as only the base cover holds the mount in place. I am happy with my purchase! This mount was very easy to install in less than 5 minutes and keeps my wifi hotspot within reach and completely out of the way. I would definitely consider buying more of these devices if I needed to reposition wifi hotspots or if they came out with this type of Google Home Mini mount!
