I've been using this collar for about seven days, twice a day for 30-60 minutes each time before having to charge it again. The adjustment buckle is a little slippery so I wouldn't recommend using a leash on a collar. The dog comes out effortlessly. I bought the collar for the light, not to protect the dog, so I don't care. In general I am very satisfied. It seems like it's going to take a long time. I've had small dangling "waterproof" lights, but enough dew on the grass to have them fail from water damage in a couple of days. My long haired dog has a collar buried quite well in the fur but the light shines brightly through fur. I'll probably buy another one to have a spare in the car.
