Very effective and inexpensive. An essential tool for dogs who are putting themselves or others at risk. I'm a big believer in clicker training and positive reinforcement, but clicks, food, and praise haven't stopped my Goldendoodle from jumping on guests and blowing them away. It was only a matter of time before he jumped on the old man and broke his hip. So after 9 months of unsuccessful behavioral interventions I bought this dog training collar and successfully reversed the unwanted jumping in one day. I rarely use a static setting - beeps are usually sufficient. I mostly use positive reinforcement, including treats and praise, after I've stopped jumping. In conclusion, I recommend buying two collars (instead of one), even with a pet, so that one is always fully charged.
