Review on DF51-01 PLA 3D Printer Filament by Dremel by Justin Vasquez

Like all other Dremel PLAs I've used in my Digilab 3D45, this filament is used when it's longer than 2 days of non-use in a row (it breaks in 2 or more places due to the strong memory of the round shape and the fragility of the thread). This happens at a maximum of 3 places: in the guide tube, outside the guide tube and next to the extruder. I don't have this problem with other brands of filament in my other non-Dremel 3D printer. I contacted Dremel support earlier this year about silver PLA and they sent me a free replacement spool with the same fragile filament, resulting in a lot of waste as I have to cut and reload about 6" of filament fragments. Every time I type after not typing for days. I was hoping it was just a problem with the silver Dremel PLA, but apparently it's happening with the red one too. PLA isn't known for its flexibility, but at least it shouldn't break while it's on the spool before it's used to print. and the desiccant bag was intact, this isn't the first coil this has happened to so I'm guessing Dremel just has the wrong formula for their PLA. Too bad for such a high price. It's the most problematic and brittle filament I've ever used, but at least it doesn't stick and seems to be a consistent width. I have lost over 3ft of this reel due to breakage since receiving it on November 28th. I only use it because using non-Dremel filament requires an external spool holder and voids my Dremel printer warranty, and I'm not ready to do that just yet.
