I had an endless splash of ammonia because a feeder fell into the aquarium. killed all my CUC and 3 fish only 2 clowns survived this just because I was dosing ammo every 2 days hoping the bio filter would eventually work but it didn't. I've tried a few other products with nitrifying bacteria and nothing worked, even after 50-75% water changes. Finally, after my last water change, I refilled a bottle at an ATM and within 2 days my ammonia level dropped to about 4ppm. by day 5 it was gone, I'm finally at the end of my nitrogen cycle and after my next water change all my levels should be perfect. I highly recommend this product!
