Review on 🏍️ SENA 20S-EVO-01D Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset Communication System, 2 Pack, Black: Enhanced Riding Experience by Julian Banks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Likely to cause hearing loss

Pros: 1) Easy to install 2) Easy to pair with other Sena devices, phone and GPS 3) Communication between two riders works quite well 4) Control is simple enough with gloves to use 5) Call quality on the other end is pretty good even at highway speeds 6) Fast on/off switching 7) No external moveable antenna to break or water ingress 8) Fast charging and battery life day (connection works). Cons: 1) The volume between devices is not balanced as described in the instructions, although an attempt has been made to adjust each device separately. The phone's volume is too low, and when the Sena is cranked all the way up to hear the phone, every other sound hits the ears like a shotgun blast. 2) The communication range is NOT 1.2 miles. Communication takes place exclusively via visual contact. Every curve and sometimes even a car in between interrupts communication. 3) My iPhone's volume is so low that I can use it for calls and most songs, but not for a book. Basically the device is fine. My main application is communication between bikes. If I only use it for that, the device isn't bad, but it has a very limited range. Crazy fluctuating volumes meant I had to turn off the feature that allowed everything (music, GPS and communications) to run simultaneously because it could rupture my eardrums.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not all fit
