I have several sets of Vise-Grip Quick-Grip brand mini clamps that I bought in 1991 and the pads were outdated and needed replacing. I ordered them based on the seller's picture and description because they looked exactly like the original thick yellow overlay pads. When they arrived it was immediately clear that this was not what was advertised. While clip-on and functional, they're made of hard plastic and much thinner than the originals. Time will tell if they will last 30 years like the originals. I contacted Irvine and they were kind enough to send me another set of these pads and also sent me a brand new current model of these clamps, a larger cousin as there were no replacement pads for them in their lifetime replacement. Guarantee, free of charge. So, kudos to Irwin!
