Easy way to add backlighting to your TV
I used one of these to add a backlight to my 55 inch Samsung wall mount TV. I cut a few feet of this strip, peeled it off the back of the TV and re-taped the strip. The glowing strip plugs into the USB port on the back of the TV and lights up when the TV is turned on. more brightness is even better. I have found that the adhesive backing of this strip is not sticking as well as it should and has peeled off the surface of the TV case in a few places. This hasn't been a big problem so far, but it would be better if it stayed more firmly attached.
